It was in 2009 I had my first opportunity to judge Beardies outside of the UK and have such fond memories of judging an entry of 93 on a hot, sunny day in Ronneby.
What a wonderful experience that was, with so many beautiful Beardies on show.
Since then, I have had the honour to judge in Germany, Belgium, Norway, Prague, U.S.A. and my last appointment in the UK Crufts bitches in 2022.
I first started showing Beardies in 1983 after a few years in OES in the 1970’s and bred my first litter of Beardies in 1989.
I’ve been lucky to make up several champions and to see other owners make up dogs I have bred.
I still enjoy showing my dogs and being in the company of fellow enthusiasts.
When judging, I look for a typey, free moving dog with good length and typical temperament.
I’m so looking forward to coming back to see the Swedish Beardies.
